GLOBAL STREET ART & POSCA - ART FOR ESTATES
September 2023
I was commissioned by Global Street Art to design and install a large-scale mural as part of their Art for Estates programme, a community-led initiative that brings bold public artwork to social housing estates across London.

The piece was developed on a 12-metre canvas installed at Three Fields Estate, Camden, with the aim of transforming an underused communal space into a vibrant and engaging environment for residents. I drew inspiration from the colour, energy, and musical heritage of Camden to come up with this dynamic and typographical design.

The project was sponsored by Posca, who provided all materials used to produce the mural. The work was created on-site, allowing for direct engagement with the local community throughout the process.

The mural received a strong and positive response from residents, reflecting the programme’s focus on accessibility and the role of public art in fostering a sense of pride and connection within shared spaces. The project reflects an ongoing interest in creating accessible, large-scale work designed to be experienced in everyday public environments.
