I was commissioned by The Guardian to create an illustration for Isabel Brooks’ article, “Most of Gen Z watch TV with the subtitles on – and I understand why.”
 

The piece responds to the idea of a “subtitled world”, where on-screen text competes with visual content, reflecting shifting viewing habits shaped by social media, divided attention, and the increasing presence of error-strewn captions.
